Principal's Corner
Dear Parents,
Salaam Alaikum,

I'd like to share with you our journey over the years. Please click here to view our school profile.

Appreciation and thanks to all the pioneers and community members who made it possible for our children to embark on their academic journey in an Islamic environment, as well to those still carrying that flag. It is through their hard work, dedication, and commitment that Al-Hadi has become an outstanding institution for education.

Educationally,
Dr. Humaira Bokhari

December 5th to 9th - Spirit Week. Please click here for more details about the theme for each day.
December 10th - Mandatory annual informational meeting for all Al-Hadi families at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium.

December 16th - Birth of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W). All students are allowed to dress up for the occasion to celebrate! There will be an in-school celebration and a door decorating competition.
December 19th to January 3rd - Winter Break
  • Please click here for the December 2016 lunch menu
  • All clubs will be on hold until we return from Winter Break. This is so all students can focus on studying for their cumulative exams. PSIA and Karate classes will continue as scheduled.
Cakes and cupcakes and other bakery items from grocery stores will no longer be allowed to be sold for bake sales, or served to celebrate students' birthdays at school.
Only homemade cakes and cupcakes baked at home, or purchased from a halal bakery, will be allowed. We appreciate your cooperation.
With winter upon us, we would like to remind parents about our jacket policy. Students may only wear solid navy blue or black sweaters, jackets and sweatshirts. No logos or lettering allowed, besides an Al-Hadi logo.
Karbala Play
We would like to thank all students, volunteers and families who took an active part in the success of the Karbala play.
A very special thanks to Br. Zaheer Zaidi and Sr. Elia Zaidi for the time, effort, dedication and heart they put into the Karbala play.
Pastries with Parents
1st Grade Teachers, Parents & Students at Pastries with Parents
We asked parents how it felt to be invited by their children for breakfast to their class, and these are the responses we received.

"It felt great! It was so nice to come and be able to socialize with other parents, especially those whom you've never met." -
Shereen Abidi

"It's really nice! It felt good and I think this is a great idea." -
Jennifer Elbezre
2nd Grade Teachers, Parents & Students at Pastries with Parents
We asked 2nd grade parents as well how it felt to be invited by their children for breakfast to their class, and these are their responses..

"In my 10 year history at Al-Hadi, we have never had anything like this. It's great!" -
Sabrina Zaidi

"This was a great idea. It's nice because we also got to meet other parents that we did not know their child was in the same class as our child." -
Zainab Abidi

We then asked our Al-Hadi teachers who are also parents of 2nd graders at Al-Hadi..

"I literally felt like I was going from one room to another in my own home." -
Maryam Razvi-Rajek

"It was nice because we get to understand it from the perspective of a parent and a teacher. This was a great idea."
- Nuzhat Ali
