Assalamu Alaikum Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders who participated in the current surveys sent out. 45% of the Al-Hadi parents completed the survey, while we had 94% and 100% response from the students and faculty respectively.

The survey focused on five main areas; Purpose and Direction, Governance and Leadership, Teaching and Assessing for Learning, Resources and Support Systems and Using Results for Continuous Improvement. Below please find details.

Out of the forty-five percent of Al-Hadi parents who completed the survey, 87% strongly agree or agree that the school is going in the right direction. Please click here to continue reading...

  • All parents are requested to help their child(ren) sell the anniversary dinner tickets. Please stop by the front office to drop off the ticket sale money or to pick up additional booklets. Kindly support the school to raise the required funds and win exciting prizes. We will also have a raffle for Ziyarat at the dinner, the winner will be required to show his/her ticket and be present at the dinner. Parents are also requested to donate items for the live or silent auction. You may drop off the items at the front office.
  • We would like to remind all parents to kindly submit updated immunization records for your child(ren) by February 22nd, 2017 at the Registrar's office. The audit is being conducted for all students currently enrolled in K-12th grade.

Congratulations to...
.. our Al-Hadi Lions on winning first place in the Future City competition.

Future City is a national, project-based competition for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 which is open to public, charter, private & home school groups. Based on the STEM program, students use a computer-simulated engineering design process to
imagine, design and build table top scale models of “cities of the future” using recycled materials.

Three teams from Al-Hadi competed in this years' competition. All of the Al-Hadi teams performed admirably and earned places amongst the top 5 teams.

Team Ville Verte (6th grade) was represented by Imran Kader, Fatima Hussain, Murtuza Jaffry, Zehra Rizvi, Mujtaba Kazmi, Hashim Shahbaz, Zaina Khan, and Ali Mohsin Raza
Ares-IX (7th Grade) was represented by Ali Jafri, Ali Rizvi, Haider Shahnawaz and Zaki Rizvi.
Team Grandeza (8th Grade) was represented by Aaminah Rizvi, Baqir Saleem, Meesum Rizvi and Setayesh Amiri.


Best Presenter award - Murtuza Jaffry (Grade 6)
Best City – Human Engineering Design award - Aries IX (Grade 7)
People's Choice award - Grade 8
Best Teacher award - Siddiqua Shahnawaz

In the final round they competed with four other teams, from other cities of South Texas and Ares IX won the first place! They will now be representing the South Texas region in the National Competition, which will be held in Washington DC this month. Go, Lions!
